September 12 Open Closed Kata

leave a comment »

Our next session will be a practical kata session focussed on the ‘O’ of SOLID — the Open/Closed Principle.

This principle suggests that “once completed, the implementation of a class can only be modified to correct errors; new or changed features would require that a different class be created”. Which sounds great in theory! And this session aims to turn theory into practise.

The session will be facilitated by James Jeffries & Chris Carroll.

We’ll start with a short talk on learning by Kevin Timmins.

Tickets are a available from eventbrite https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/event/8166559399?ref=eiosprexshreclip
